On Dec 16th we welcomed our new niece - Sawyer Kate Heath - she is SO sweet and Charly is in love with her...maybe it's time to give her a baby in our house too!

She loves fire...it's genetic.

One afternoon in October I couldn't find Charly anywhere - I finally went into her room and found her just like this.

Charly loves to be anywhere here Daddy is and tries to help him do everything - from making the fire to working on the car to just playing around.

These are some old swim goggles I have from a relay Triathalon I did a few years ago...they're C's favorite toy! (this pic cracks me up-notice the too small clothes with her diaper hanging out the side - ha!)

Canning!!

That's right folks...I have entered the world of my mother and grandmother...I am a canner!!! Ok so maybe I've only done this little batch...I bought 46 lbs of apples in Farwell Texas and made 16 quarts of applesauce! And we dehydrated a bunch too....but we ate those as soon as they were ready. We are working hard on our food storage and on living providently!
